JANMASHTAMI UNIQUE KRISHNA DRESS FOR CHILDREN

Krishna Janmashtami, also known simply as Janmashtami or Gokulashtami, is an annual Hindu festival that celebrates the beginning of Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu.

The festival of Janmashtami is celebrated every year on the Ashtami date of the Krishna Paksha of Bhadra month. According to Hindu belief, Lord Krishna was born on this day. This festival is very special for the devotees of Lord Krishna. People keep a fast on this day and break the fast after worshiping Krishna at 12 o'clock in the night. Lord Krishna was born as the eighth child of Devaki in the prison of Kansa in Mathura city.

Janmashtami Fasting Rules: Food is not taken during this fast. This fast is broken in a fixed period. Usually Janmashtami fast is broken after the Ashtami date and the end of Rohini Nakshatra. If neither of these Muhurta ends before sunset after sunrise, then the fast is broken.

Lord Krishna was born on this day, so on this day children are dressed like Shri Kishna.
